  • Road and Railway projects, with special attention provided to foundation options for culverts and bridges, large cutting stability analyses as well as classification of borrow pits for constructions materials.
  • Reservoir projects, with diligent investigations to determine allowable foundation bearing capacities.
  • Solar farms, electrical pylons and distribution structures with specific attention to potential settlement of foundations or differential settlement.
  • Wind Energy Farms comprising foundations for large wind turbine structures

Geotechnical investigations for the establishment of rock quarries and borrow pits for:

  • Platform construction materials and the evaluation of existing rockfill material for raft foundation options.
  • Impermeable liner construction materials.
  • Concrete aggregate materials according to SANAS Specification 1083. These include investigation and recommendations for fine concrete aggregate as well as coarse concrete aggregate with specific attention provided to Alkali-Silica Reactions (ASR) with cement and detrimental effects of chemical groundwater solutions.
  • Embankment construction materials, including materials for embankment shells, clay core embankments, filter materials and homogenous embankment materials.
